It has come to our attention that another operator may take over the SuperValu franchise in your store.
We are writing to the company today to seek assurances on your terms and conditions of employment, if indeed the rumour of a change of owner is confirmed.
Now is the ideal time to encourage all staff that are not currently members of Mandate Trade Union to join now. You can ask them to join online at www.joinmandate.ie, this link can be forwarded to your colleagues.
If the rumour is true all staff should become involved/active in the union to ensure their terms and conditions are secure. Remember we are stronger together.
