Dear Members,
Please note that earlier today I have held an exploratory meeting with company representatives to ascertain whether both parties are willing to enter negotiations with regards to Project Phoenix and the implications of same for our members.
Having had a very brief meeting with the company, I am pleased to inform you that both the company, and your Union, have agreed to fully engage on the above mentioned issues. Please note we did not discuss any detail at the brief discussions, moreover we focused on agreeing a framework for negotiations in this regard have agreed a date to commence negotiations on May 6th next.
Furthermore the company advised that they will commence a road show next week, in this regard I would recommend that you attend and ask as many questions as possible regarding the company plans.
Finally we will shortly organise a meeting of all members ahead of the negotiations and will most likely send you a survey so as we have all of the information, we require ahead of the negotiations.
