Dear Member,
I hope this email finds you safe and well.
After what seems like a very lengthy process, to-day for some members and next Friday for others, marks their final day as an employee of Counterpoint. In my capacity as your Mandate Divisional Organiser for the past number of years, I would like to thank each and every one of you for the professionalism, dignity and respect you always demonstrated in our dealings throughout that time.
I would especially like to thank your current Shop Stewards, Mr. Larry Murphy and Mr. Tom Breen, for their diligence, assistance and commitment over what has been a very difficult period for all concerned.
One final piece of information, any member availing of the Redundancy Package will receive their May 2021 Payslip, if the are entitled to one, through the Post to their home address, as they will not have access to the internal electronic payslip.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish each and every one of the members exiting the Company, the very best of health, happiness and prosperity as you end one chapter of your working lives and commence a new one. I hope that you bring with you an enhanced belief of “A Workers Place is being in their Union” and I sincerely hope that you remain a member of your Union, Mandate, in your future working lives.
For all members, whether they are availing of the redundancy, or moving to Britvic, I look forward to working closely with you into the future.
