Re: Reconstitution of Mandate Store Structures
Dear Member,
I hope this correspondence finds you and yours safe and well.
It has been brought to the attention of the undersigned that there is a Vacancy for the Position of Health & Safety Representative in the Penney’s Newbridge Store. After consultation with the existing House Committee, your Shop Steward, Mr. Robert Byrne has informed me of the fact that he would like to apply for this vacancy. This could then create a Vacancy for the position of Shop Steward, and Ms. Yvonne Sheehan – Deputy Shop Steward has advised me that she would like to apply for this position, which in turn could create another vacancy.
In order to avoid the necessity of running numerous nomination processes and possible elections the undersigned has decided in-line with good practice to reconstitute all of the Mandate Store Structure Positions within Penneys Newbridge.
Therefore we are seeking nominations for the positions of Shop Steward, Deputy Shop Steward, House Committee Members (x4) and Health & Safety Representative.

If you are interested in the position of Shop Steward, Deputy Shop Steward or Health & Safety Worker Rep for your Store or if you wish to become a member of the Store House Committee (x4 positions), then please complete the online Nomination Form by clicking here.
In the event that more than one Nomination is received for the Shop Steward, Deputy Shop Steward or Health & Safety Worker Rep positions, the undersigned will arrange an election to take place at the earliest opportunity.

All successful nominees will be required to complete the relevant training course, which will be provided by Mandate Trade Union.
