Re: Pay and Benefits Agreement September 2021
Dear Mr. Quish
I write to advise you that it has been brought to my attention that our members in the Main Street store have not received the retrospective pay owed to them under the terms of the Pay and Benefits Agreement September 2021.
I understand that Mr. Ciaran Quish has stated that the agreement does not cover both stores. As you are aware, the agreement in question was designed for both the Main Street and West End stores as quoted in the Agreement heading “Quish’s Super Valu Ballincollig/Mandate Trade Union. Pay Proposals September 2021”. At no point was it stated in the proposal or discussed that any distinction was being made between both stores.
As you are aware, both stores were balloted and accepted the proposal and therefore I would appreciate if you would confirm by return the company’s intention to comply with the terms of the agreement to ensure that our members in Main Street receive their back pay.
Yours sincerely
For Mandate Trade Union
