Re:   Nominations for the Position of Shop Steward, Deputy Shop Steward, Health & Safety Rep and House Committee Members

Dear Member,

Further to the advertisement of the 10th May 2022 with regard to the vacant position of Shop Steward, Deputy Shop Steward, House Committee membership and H&S Rep unfortunately no nomination were received before the closing date of Friday 20th May. Therefore I have decided to leave the nomination process open until this coming Friday, 27th May 2022.

Given the fact that we are currently engaged with your employer in the Labour Court with regard to your Pay & Benefits Claim, it is imperative that we are organised in each and every Tesco Location and therefore I would urge all members to consider becoming involved in your Union by nominating themselves for one of the following positions. I can assure all potential nominees that they will be given every assistance possible.

In the event that more than one Nomination is received for the Shop Steward, Deputy Shop Steward or Health & Safety Worker Rep positions, the undersigned will arrange an election to take place at the earliest opportunity.
