Re:   Customer Concern

Dear Members,

I hope this correspondence finds you safe and well.

I have been contacted via email by a customer of the Tesco Bettystown Store with regard to an incident that they witnessed in the store on Saturday 02nd July 2022 with a member of staff, who was visibly upset. Unfortunately I do not have the name of the individual staff member but I would like to take this opportunity to clearly state that if that person or any member of staff in the Bettystown Store requires any assistance with any employment matter please do not hesitate to contact your union on 018746321 or via email mandate@mandate.ie

Unfortunately we do not have a Mandate Shop Steward or Mandate Representative in the Tesco Bettystown store despite numerous advertisements seeking volunteers to take up one of the positions. It is imperative that we try once again so as to ensure that at the very least we have a point of contact in the store.

I have decided to seek nominations for a Mandate House Committee in the Bettystown Store. I can assure all potential nominees that they will be given every assistance and training possible.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the Store House Committee, then please email mnolan@mandate.ie stating your name and your mobile number.

Please complete the Online Nomination by close of business on Friday, 29th July 2022.

Please do not hesitate to contact the undersigned if you have any queries with regard to the contents of this correspondence on (01) 8746321 or at the email address below.

Yours fraternally,
