Further to a recent Tesco Shop Steward Survey we note that there is no elected Health & Safety Worker Representative in your Store.
Section 25 of the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work Act 2005, entitles employees to decide on, select and appoint a Safety Representative to represent them in consultations with their employer on matters of Safety, Health and Welfare at their place of work.
If you are interested in filling the vacant position of Health & Safety Rep for your Store, then please click on the following Link and complete the very short Nomination Form, or please ask your Shop Steward for a Nomination Form, complete same and return it in the prepaid envelope provided with the Nomination Form. In the event that more than one Nomination is received, the undersigned will arrange an election to take place at the earliest opportunity. Please complete the Online Nomination, or return the completed paper Nomination Form by Friday, 26th February 2021.
