Joint Statement from Argos and Mandate, Friday 4th March

2022/23 ROI Non-Management Colleague Wage Review

For: Argos Standalone Store colleagues and Team Leaders in the Republic of Ireland. Non-management colleagues are represented by Mandate for the purposes of collective bargaining on pay, terms and conditions.

Dear Colleagues,

We can now advise you that the 2022 pay review ballot closed on Friday 4th March which the Union membership has accepted overwhelmingly. 93.2% of votes were in favour of accepting the Company’s offer and we would like to thank colleagues for taking the opportunity to use their vote in this significant pay offer. Therefore, from Sunday 6th March 2022 for all Argos ROI hourly paid colleagues, the following pay deal will come into effect:

  1. Rates of Pay
    a. All colleagues on Year 1 and Year 2 pay rates will move to Year 3.

    b. The base rate of pay will then increase by 3.28% for all colleagues and Team Leaders. (Rates of pay are included in the table at the bottom of this statement).
  2. Christmas Bonus 2022
    a. The Company will pay 100% of the normal Christmas Bonus.
  3. Premiums
    a. All premiums and allowances will remain unchanged.

Your Union store colleague representatives, members of the Mandate NNC, or Store Manager will be able to answer any questions you may have.
