Re:      Pay Proposals

30 November 2021

Dear Member,

Over the past number of months, your Union Negotiating Team has been in talks with management in an effort to secure a new pay deal on your behalf.  During this difficult trading period, our members in Brown Thomas / Arnotts have demonstrated their resolve and willingness to work through these most challenging times as frontline workers within the retail industry.

After a number of meetings, the parties have agreed to recommend acceptance of a 2% pay increase backdated to the 3rd May 2021 expiring 30th April 2022, with talks expected to begin again in early March 2022 for a successor agreement. You are strongly advised to familiarise yourself with the contents before you cast your vote.  Click Here to view the proposals.

The Company have indicated a willingness to discuss a new package of enhanced benefits for all Brown Thomas / Arnotts staff during 2022 and it is our intention, through the support of the local representatives, to survey all our members in early 2022 to establish the priorities of our members in advance of the commencement of talks.
