Re: Pay and Benefits Claim
Dear Ms Sharp
I am writing to you regarding our current pay deal which was negotiated in April and May of 2019 and expired on 31st January 2021. Due to the pandemic Mandate has been working closely with many businesses and while acknowledging the unique circumstances we all find ourselves in, it is now a number of months since our pay negotiations were due to commence and in line with our collective agreements I would be obliged if you and your team could arrange for the scheduling of our next round of pay and benefit talks, at the earliest opportunity.
As soon as we can agree a date to commence the national discussions, I would be obliged if the company could grant paid release, as is the current practice for our local Workplace Representatives to attend a national Shop Stewards meeting in advance of the negotiations.
