Dear John,
I wish to acknowledge receipt of your correspondence on the 27th October, 2023.
I can confirm that we are engaging with all statutory funders of our services to ascertain if Cork Simon Community is to receive additional funding, following the recent WRC decision and the subsequent government statement on pay in voluntary organisations.
We are not currently in a position to make any commitment to specific pay increases as discussions with the statutory funders on this matter have just commenced. We will of course keep you updated on any progress/outcomes relating to the pay of members from these discussions.
Kind regards,
Ursula Galvin

Re: Pay Claim and WRC Conciliation Conference
Dear Ursula
Thank you for your response to our correspondence which we received dated 1st November 2023.
Our members have requested that we ascertain if you know, how long discussion with the statutory funders may take?
Yours sincerely
