RE: Retention of Personal Photo’s / Documents on Company Phones, Tablets & Laptops
Dear Member
I hope this correspondence finds you and yours safe and well.
As you may remember queries were raised with Mandate with regard to the retention of Personal Documents and Photographs that members had stored on their work devices. We are now in receipt of an update from the Company, which is included at Appendix 1 below, with regard to this matter. The contents of which are self-explanatory.
Kind regards
Keith Pollard

Subject: RE: Members Queries
Hi Keith,
I have an update on this as having dug further it turns out that Counterpoint laptops are supplied through a different service provider and it is not possible to use USBs. The security clearance required to get around this would need to go to a very senior level and it could be very difficult to get this signed off as there are significant risks associated with opening up the system.
The team will be receiving information from the Britvic IT Team around how to upload photos to the cloud which should allow people to maintain access to these files after they leave the business. If there is anyone for whom this does not work could you ask them to reach out directly to myself, Kim or Niamh and we will see if there is a way to help them once we understand the specific files they need to keep and where they are stored.
Apologies for any confusion,
Thanks
Sian
