Re: Temperature & Inadequate Lighting In-Store
Dear Mandate Members
Further to the update of the 05th October 2022, see below, with regard to the Temperature & Inadequate Lighting in the Dunnes Drogheda West Street Store, I wish to bring to your attention the fact that Mandate have not received a response to our correspondence from the Company.
Therefore as stated in my update of the 05th October 2022 it is now my intention to refer the matters concerned to the Health & Safety Authority for their consideration. In advance of reporting the matter to the Health & Safety Authority I am seeking an update from our members in the store with regard to the two issues. I would appreciate it if you could respond to this correspondence by email to kpollard@mandate.ie answering the following pertinent points:
- Has there been any improvement with regard to the Temperature in-store?
- Has there been any improvement to the inadequate lighting in the store?
- Have the means to measure the temperature at various locations in the store been made available to staff to monitor the temperature?
I look forward to your responses.
Kind regards
Keith Pollard
