Dear Member,

We just wanted to keep you up to date with regard to your Pay and Benefits Claim. You will recall from last week’s update we informed you that we had written to the Company on foot of the last months Shop Stewards meeting, outlining that your expectation, as members is that any pay award must be negotiated with your Union, take account of the exceptionally good trading period arising from the Covid-19 crisis, and finally that the pay question must be subject to a vote of Mandate Members. We again sought a meeting with the company in accordance with your collective agreements to discuss your pay and benefits claim.

Company Response

The Company have again responded this week, without either committing to negotiations or confirming a date for a meeting to discuss a range of matters which your union raised on your behalf. Click Here to view the Company response in full. The matter will now form the central focus of discussion at the next Regional Shop Stewards/Representatives meeting on June 29th. Therefore, we urge you to ensure that your local store is represented at these meetings.
