Further to the Government announcement regarding the imminent reopening of non-essential retail and the company’s communication to staff – please see copy here https://tinyurl.com/PenneysComm – confirming a return to work following months of closure on the 4th May 2021, please be advised that while acknowledging the company’s commitment in its communication to the health and wellbeing of all staff as well as the provision of retraining regarding updates to any changes that has been made in store including health and safety measures, Mandate will continue to monitor across all employments, the reopening of stores in line with Covid 19 return to work protocols. We wish all our members a safe return to work and to this end we would ask you in your capacity as Shop Stewards and House Committee Members to keep your local Mandate office informed of any developments in this regard.
