RE: PAY PROPOSAL 2023 – 2024
Following our recent pay discussions with your employer, held on 27th July 2023, please see Pay Proposal hereunder;
• 3% pay increase from 01st May 2023 for 12 months.
• 2% pay increase from 01st May 2024 for 12months.
• 1 service day for employees with 15 years or more service commencing from the new holiday year in 2024.
• Roster notice – Rosters to be posted on a Thursday for the following Sunday week.
These proposals are subjected to the following;
• Both parties are recommending acceptance of the proposals. In the event the proposal is not accepted by either party, the proposal would have no standing.
• There will be no further pay cost increase claims for the period of the agreement.
• The proposal is applicable for grades represented by Mandate Trade Union.
We plan to ballot our membership on the above as follows;

Venue: SuperValu The Hypercentre Waterford
Time: 12 – 2pm
We would ask that you familiarise yourself with the above carefully before the ballot. Please make every effort to attend your store at the time of the ballot to make your vote count. Mandate members are the only participants in this ballot. Only full members of Mandate with eight weeks union subscription paid prior to the ballot will be entitled to participate in the vote.
