Re: Collective Action Demonstration against Tesco actions
Dear Member,
The next opportunity for Tesco Clarehall workers to display their anger with the actions of your employer will take place next Friday, 28th July from 2.30pm until 3.30pm. The assembly point is the Public Bus stop. If you are not directly affected by the recent unilateral changes to conditions and earnings imposed on the Dotcom workers by Tesco, do not make the mistake of thinking you are safe. This company has a clear tactic of divide and conquer.
You should by now have seen the statement from An Taoiseach last week recommending Tesco sit and talk to your union. If you haven’t, please click here: https://youtu.be/Mv0eToqBx5o
If you think you are safe, please see this testimony from a Tesco worker from Galway: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BOl-uytOKWY&feature=youtu.be
In addition to the above, you, the Tesco workers, prioritized what you wish to be included in your pay and benefit claim for 2023 and this claim was formally lodged by Mandate’s President, Ms Denise Curran, on Monday 10th of July. To watch this, please click here: https://youtu.be/mOzjummq5EA
It is now time for you join your colleagues and send a clear message to this employer that you will have your say and you will not be ignored. Please come out and join the demonstration next Friday.
Yours sincerely
