We also wish to advise our members that following the Company’s announcement on Tuesday last, January 17th in relation to changes to the current employee pension scheme etc., which were not agreed with Mandate, (Tesco Letter 17 January 2022) as well as our members’ desire to pursue a pay increase that reflects the risks associated with Covid 19, the increased cost of living, the profitable position of the business and the increased productivity of our members throughout the stores, we are now in the process of seeking immediate re-engagement with your employer in relation to the above. Mandate Letter 20 January 2022
Please be assured that as soon as we receive a response from the company we will keep you updated on any developments. Should you wish to participate in the Union within your store, please feel free to speak with your local Shop Steward/Workplace Representative or contact your Local Union Office where our colleagues can support and advise you in this regard.
Yours fraternally
