Dear Member,

Further to our training supports for our Arcadia members, Mandate has contacted the Department of Social Protection on your behalf and requested information in relation to accessing appropriated services post redundancy. Please find below a Redundancy Information supports video highlighting a number of supports including financial and job searching from the Department of Social Protection, training and education options from the Education and Training Board, starting a business from a Local Enterprise Office, CV and interview supports from a local Jobs Club, as well as information from the Money Advice and Budgeting Service. Pandemic Unemployment Payment (PUP)
If you have become fully unemployed due to Covid 19 you should apply for the PUP. Information on the PUP including the online application for payment can be found at the following link  Covid-19 services on My Welfare

Jobseekers Application
Customers with an adult dependent and more than one child dependent may be better off on a Jobseekers payment. Important – You should apply in the first instance for PUP to ensure an immediate payment. Once your PUP is in payment application for a Jobseekers payment can be made online at the following link Jobseeker’s application process on My Welfare. You can contact your local Intreo Office by email or phone the income support helpline number for more advice on this. Contact details below.

Register for free on jobsireland.ie to keep up to date with current vacancies.

If you would like to be informed directly by email of vacancies or potential training opportunities you can email employerrelations@welfare.ie and they will include you in their mailing list.

Need to contact the Department
Where possible customers are requested to use the My Welfare service to conduct their business with the Department – by following this link My Welfare

If you need to contact your local Intreo Office
The quickest, easiest and safest way to contact your local Intreo office is by email. A list of contact details can be found by at the following link ‘Find your local Intreo Centre’. Intreo Centres are currently on reduced opening hours due to the restrictions.
