Dear Mr.Light,

Notice of Industrial Action

I am in receipt of your letter dated 12th December 2022, addressed to Eugene
Dalton, CEO Shuttington Holdings, T/A Corrib Oil. I am the Employee Relations
Advisor acting on behalf of the Company. The Company is willing to meet with representatives of Mandate Union with a view to engaging in meaningful discussions on the proviso that the proposed industrial action scheduled for Thursday 22nd December 2022 in Ballinasloe does not go ahead.
Unfortunately, I am away the week of the 19th December but will be available to
meet in early January, along with representatives of the Company. Please advise
me of dates that are suitable for such a meeting.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours sincerely,
Bernard O’Keeffe

Re: Scheduled Industrial Action 22 December 2022

Dear Mr O’Keefe

I refer to yours of the 16 December 2022 in the above regard.
The only way to avoid the planned industrial action for 22 December 2022, is for the
employer to immediately engage with representatives of Mandate Trade Union as
requested previously on many occasions. Any attempt to seek the deferral of such engagement until after Thursday 22 December 2022 is simply not acceptable at this late stage. It also needs to be clearly understood that the employer must demonstrate early in the course of engagement with the union a clear commitment to reach a result which isultimately satisfactory to our members. As outlined previously, representatives of Mandate Trade Union remain available to meet at the shortest possible notice.

Yours sincerely

Dear Mr.Light,

Notice of Industrial Action

I refer to your letter dated 19th December 2022 in respect of the above. I am based in London and it would be difficult for me to attend a meeting in person prior to Christmas, as I currently have other commitments. The Company is disappointed that you are not prepared to suspend industrial action in order that a meeting could take place in early January, which is only a few weeks away.
As stated in my letter dated 16th December 2022,1, along with representatives from the Company, will be available early in the New Year for a face-to-face meeting with the aim of having constructive discussions with representatives from Mandate.

I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely,
Bernard O’Keeffe
