Dear Mr. Dalton,
I refer to my unanswered letter of the 4th of August. As previously advised, a number of your employees in Ballinasloe have applied for and have been accepted into Mandate Trade Union membership.
You may be aware, subject to the rules of this union, under the Industrial Relations Act 1990, these employees as union members are now legally entitled to engage in industrial action up to and including strike.
Therefore, I am again requesting the convening of a Company – Union meeting to discuss the agreeing of procedures for the resolving of any disputes that may arise between this union, its members and your company or vice versa.
Can you please contact this office, so we can agree a time, date and venue for this meeting.
